Wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari has advised children to be obedient and always listen to their parents and take their studies seriously so as to be well groomed citizens of this nation.
Mrs Buhari made this known at the annual state house childrens party where she was represented by the wife of the secretary to the state government Mrs Olu Boss Mustapha
Whilst thanking God for the new year Mrs Mustapha, also thanked the children for coming to the party and the parents for bringing them.
Special prayers were also held by the chidren for the wife of the president and also for the speedy recovery of the Presidents son Yusuf Buhari who was involved in an accident recently.
Apart from having lots to eat and drink, the Children had lots of games to keep them busy like bouncy castle and train rides apart from various competitions. Parents were also not left out as they competed alongside their children.
The highlight of the party was the cutting of the cake with some of the children and the prize giving ceremony where children who won in the various competitions went home with individual prizes
